25.00Founded in 2018, the Qualia Research Institute (QRI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit developing a mathematical formalization for subjective experience and its emotional valence. Our rigorous research and theoretical insights, driven by the Importance-Tractability-Neglectedness (ITN) framework, are directed towards mapping the state-space of consciousness. We maintain a collaborative network of academics, independent researchers, and thought leaders, all dedicated to suffering-focused ethics and creating technologies optimizing the well-being of sentient beings.
